GLYX support & recovery

A clear next step when you need help—with your originals and recovery key kept private.

Contact BBF

Email hello@beyondbruteforce.com. Ben Vivian is the initial support contact. We aim to send an initial reply within two UK working days; this is a target, not a guaranteed response or resolution deadline. Include the GLYX and macOS versions, what you were trying to do and the visible error. Redact private filenames and unrelated information from screenshots.

Downloading and opening GLYX

Get the Mac release from the GLYX account page and check the release’s supported Mac configuration, version and published hash. This is a direct BBF download using ad-hoc signing; it is not Apple-notarised. macOS may show a warning or ask for manual approval on first launch. If you choose to open it, use the normal macOS approval process. Do not disable system security, bypass integrity checks or approve a download you do not trust. Contact us if it will not open.

Connecting your Mac

Create your account and verify your email. Review the customer terms, then open GLYX and begin device approval. Enter the app’s current device code, compare the complete fingerprint and approve only if it matches. Return to GLYX to complete activation. If a code expires, request a fresh one through the app. Do not approve a mismatch or share the approval code with support.

The trial and import allowance

The ordinary trial lasts seven days from completed activation on one Mac and permits 100,000,000,000 original input bytes cumulatively. No card or automatic payment is required. Follow the app’s supported-format, per-import and available-space safeguards. Keep independent originals until you have checked recovery; results vary with your data.

Recovering an archive

Use the compatible GLYX Recovery (called Reader in older records) for your archive and its matching recovery key. Keep both backed up privately. Compatible local recovery remains available when trial writing ends and is separate from account sign-in and payment. Your account password is not your archive recovery key. If the key and every usable backup are lost, support may be unable to recover the archive and cannot promise a bypass.

What to keep private

Do not send passwords, verification or reset links/codes, archive keys, full card information, identity documents or confidential file contents. There is no archive-upload support channel in this trial. If extra diagnostics are genuinely needed, agree the limited information, redaction, transfer and retention with us first.

Security, access problems and complaints

Report a suspected security issue, activation problem or complaint to hello@beyondbruteforce.com. Give a short, redacted description and relevant times. We will review the affected account or operation, make proportionate ownership checks where necessary and explain the next action. Support does not require a positive review or a purchase. If the issue concerns personal data, see your privacy rights.
