What this trial includes
We give you permission to use the Mac release linked from the GLYX account page for a seven-day trial on one Mac. The trial starts when device activation completes. Your cumulative allowance is 100 GB: 100,000,000,000 original input bytes. The allowance measures files imported, not compressed output size or free disk space.
No payment or automatic subscription
No card is required. The trial does not charge you, renew automatically or turn into a paid subscription. Paid checkout is not offered as part of this trial.
Eligibility and activation
The free Mac trial is available internationally to account holders aged 18 or over who are legally able to enter this agreement, where local law and our service providers permit access. You do not need to live in the United Kingdom. The current release is for compatible Macs; this does not announce Windows, Android or iOS availability. Create an account, verify your email, review these terms and approve the Mac whose complete device fingerprint matches the app. Complete activation in GLYX. Reinstalling or making another account does not entitle you to a new trial allowance.
Direct download for Mac
This release is distributed directly by BBF. It uses ad-hoc signing and is not Apple-notarised. macOS may show a first-launch warning or ask you to approve opening it. Use the official download and its release information; if you choose to proceed, use the normal macOS approval process. Do not disable system security or bypass integrity checks. See installation support if it will not open.
Compatibility and safe use
Check the Mac compatibility, version, supported formats and import limits in the download’s release information and the app before use. These terms apply to the Mac release linked from the account page. Only process files you have authority to use. Follow the app’s import and free-space safeguards; compression results depend on your files, so no fixed compression ratio or saving is promised.
Your files and recovery key
Your files remain yours. GLYX is local archive software, not a remote backup service. Keep independent originals until you have checked recovery. Keep your archive, matching recovery key and compatible GLYX Recovery (called Reader in older records) backed up privately. Your account password is different from your archive key: a password reset cannot replace a lost recovery key.
When the trial ends
Trial writing access ends when the seven-day period or input allowance ends. Compatible local archive recovery remains available without payment using the matching GLYX Recovery and recovery key. Ending the trial or closing an account does not delete your local archives or keys.
Software and your rights
BBF and its licensors retain their rights in the software. Third-party notices supplied with the release apply to their components. These terms do not remove lawful backup, testing or interoperability rights or any consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. If something is faulty or differs from its description, contact us so we can investigate and explain the applicable options.
Support and changes
Contact hello@beyondbruteforce.com. We aim to send an initial reply within two UK working days; this is not a guaranteed response or resolution time. A change to a webpage does not authorise a charge or a new subscription. The optional paid plan has its own clear offer and requires your separate agreement; it never starts automatically.
